As much as I hate to say it I think the only team that goes undefeated is Oregon. I think it will be the SEC Champion against PAC 12 Champ.

We aren't jumping K-state if they win out. They have have just as hard a schedule as us, probably a higher SOS

I don't see Notre Dame beating both Oklahoma and USC.. so lets just assume they do lose one of those games.

Oregon and K-state will remain ahead of us if they go undefeated

I'm not convinced this LSU team is a "national title" team just yet, but nonetheless our path to the national championship is pretty clear:

-LSU win out
-KState lose a game (possibly this week at West Virginia)
-Notre Dame lose to USC or Oklahoma

=LSU vs Oregon in Miami

(that said, I think Oregon will also drop a game opening up both spots in the title game for the taking)

Oregon definitely has a hard path. What we need is for Oregon to beat USC in the regular season, then USC beat them in the Pac-12 championship game.

I said this before. But no one will be undefeated this year in my opinion. I believe everyone will stumble at least once. Including Alabama losing to LSU, and Oregon having a brain fart along the way. So at the end, it will be a matter of ranking a bunch of one loss teams, and arguing who deserves to be ranked higher than the other team.

Oregon isn't going undefeated. They're missing something this year. Just doesn't seem like they have "it." At least not yet.

No, that's actually the teams job.

Our jobs as fans are to show up to the games, cheer as asses off, and speculate on games 5-6 weeks in advance that will give us a shot at being in the title game.

Not really. If everydbody ends up with 1 loss, LSU will have to play Bama in Miami.

One could argue that Bama's easiest road to the title game would be to lost to LSU on 11/3

What the frick? Beating the num 1 team and num 3 team and on top of that having to play an extra championship game against another ranked opponent.

nor will LSU 'leap' over Our Lady or Oregon if they win out.

Looks like LSU fans will be cheering for Southern Cal and Kiffin.

Means absolutely nothing when comparing to K-state.

K-state and LSU would be so close in the human polls, that the computer polls would be the deciding factor.. giving the edge to K-state
