God how I hate them but they play pretty good ball. Salty defense and pretty well coached.

This. It's called "Tiger Rant" for a reason.

Oh for frick's sake, making some gumbo, killing time till the game's on and thought it was worth a post.

My apologies. Next time I'll punch in the obligatory 'is miles as good as his record' or 'will Mett finish the game' for the 9000th time just to keep things nice and consistent for everyone.

Well, because these are teams taking our place high in the polls and possibly getting our bowl slot if we loose 2 games. That's why they're being talked about here. Notre Dame is one of them.

Struggling with standford at home and it looks like they'll probably lose barring some offensive miracle here

I would say no

Or a phantom PI call to give the game to ND could help too

Sure let them play any four of the top SEC teams and rack up another title for Dixie

I'm not referring to it being a low scoring game

I'm referring to it being close against Stanford at home

You think Stanford plays Bama this close in Bama's house?

I'm not sure. Their offense is still struggling to find an identity.

BUT, their defense is legit as frick. Their front 7 is as good as any SEC front 7. The secondary, not so much.

yes. didn't think so in the beginning, as they usually are suspect, but I honestly think they have the most complete team in the country behind bama. they're not the best at any specific phase of the game, but their team-ball tops the nation. oh, yeah...frick ND!
