| Wife Just Surprised Me With LASIK (Posted on 10/10/12 at 11:08 am)
Apparently it will be with Dr. Fay Woo. Anyone have any experience with her? Or LASIK experience for that matter? What type of LASIK did you have? My wife paid for the basic surgery, but said I can get the 'bladeless' for additional costs, which she'll pay for also. I want to make sure I get this done right, so any pointers/ suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Bladeless is the way to go. Takes 10 minutes, you feel nothing. My only regret is I didn't do it years sooner.

DO NOT wear your contacts during the surgery, biggest mistake of my life... I now have contact plastic fused to my eye balls.

How is it even possible that the doctor didn't notice you wearing contacts during it. When I had my eyes done, I had to take my contacts out and wear my glasses a month before the surgery. Unless you are joking of course.

I really need to this now that non-prescription glasses without the lenses are in style.

What you mean she's paying for it? Y'all have different accounts? Do y'all sleep with different people too?

My dad had LASIK surgery and after about 7 years he said his eyesight started getting bad again.

My HS bio teacher brought in the video from her surgery. At one point the doctor messed up on his cut. You could hear him say "Oops." She never had any complications though.

Might work out math wise anyways when you consider the costs of eye exams, glasses and contacts for a 7 year period.
