I agree. I hate how these individual team players get so much attention and responsibility. I don't think ESPN should televise the Little League World Series for the same reason.

Some of these kids' greatest hours are going to be over before they reach puberty. That really isn't fair to them at all.

I disagree. Why deny them their moment in the Sun...some of those kids that you are speaking of probably will savor those memory's from their childhood for the rest of their lives... Some of those kids that you speak of probably will use their experiences as youths to catapult themselves into other dreams that they want to make come to pass...

I was in attendance last night and for the PBS games vs EHS last Tuesday. Last Tuesday was my first time seeing them this year. PBS was a very well coached, well disciplined team and was I pretty impressed w/ a few of PBS RB and #30 for UHS. I saw the flip. Not making excuses for the crew, but that call is alot easier in 5 man mechancis w/ a back judge in the immediate vicinity to determine depth to nearest defender, hard to tell depth from the wing guys and if it was a flip or legit dive to avoid a defender. PBS D played exceptional and really held Moses in check for most of the night. It was my first time seeing him play and he lived up to the hype, his ceiling is extremely high. It's easy for me to sit here and arm chair coach, but I thought the UHS coaches could've beeen a little more creative in getting the ball to Moses and using him as a decoy to exploit the PBS D. I thought the officiating crew did an excellent job BTW

You sir were an official at the game last night, the game wasn't officiated excellent, you are just taking up for your crew. If you saw the flip like you said you did, you would have thrown the flag. One of the officials, not you, is a clown, and is only there to be seen, he knows who he is.

Also, I know superstars get the benifit of the doubt, because yall don't want to be the one to throw the flag on the LSU recruit. Let him showboat. That's what superstars do anyway.

So you are saying that Dylan makes UHigh worse? Get out of here with that.

Without Dylan last night, PBS wins by 5 Touchdowns.

Hey did i say that. Hes my classmate probably could start on varsity if he was allowed to. His rep speaks for him self. I am saying that i don't like that people are saying that the teammates that block and get him the ball don't do crap. He didnt get the ball every single play, robert, ben, and josh get the ball too. In fact adam scored a td in that game

I know Ben,Adam and Dylan are the biggest threats on that team. All 3 are talented. also big 74. Hes a monster to block.

UHS has a great team, not taking anything away, but the atmosphere at that game last night was pretty legit for a middle school game.

Talent flying around that field on both sides.

I'm sure these two teams are talented, but the best Jr High team I ever saw was Family Christian Academy with Michael Clayton and Mewelde Moore. Unstoppable. Only had a team that one year, but went undefeated and only gave up six points the whole season in the same League as all the other Private Schools.

This PBS team would have a great shot at that team.

Is there any way to hook PBS up with West Ridge, one of WM's feeder schools? The 8th grade team has never lost...ever...since flag in 1st grade this group has run the table. I'd love to see them play this great PBS squad. I wasn't there last night, but I talked to a guy I trust and he said they were legit.

haha you got me. With that said I thought the head linesman did an above average job. His status as a player had nothing to do w/ the no flag, we didn't discuss allowing the LSU recruit to 'get away w/ showboating' in the pregame, just a missed call that someone should've banged if the intent was to showboat. Now back to the game: First, I hope the young man from UHS that was down w/ what appeared to be a head injury is OK. Anyone have an update? the atmosphere was as good as I've been around for a sub varsity contest. I don't work much MS, do they have a post season or championship game because seeing PBS play an all or nothing game would be worth the price of admission

No championship. Just the regular season, when that's over, its over.

You did throw a flag on me. Ha.

The ones that went to Drew haven't lost to my knowledge. I like the extra "holdback" year you added

I was just seeing how sharp you are late at night....

the person that can make it happen.. has read it though..

that's a lot of distance for a sub varsity game no matter how you slice it....

I'll get you a tape.
