See, he gets full credit for D frickups

The problem is it appears the same problem with the D that year has manifested itself with the offense.

Not sure why LSU can't find a top notch offensive coordinator.

The whole Kragthrope thing was strange but it's been over a year ago.

I think they gelled as a unit, maybe.

I don't think any player got better. Most got worse, Alex Hurst and T-Bob.

I just think he peaked in 07.

Let the W/L columns show there wasn't that much difference.
They're #1 and #2 in scoring O.
He'll build it back again.

As a young high school coach I would think that no I do not know more about football than Les Miles. With that being said, I have never sat down and had a conversation with him about football to see how much he knows. I have also never talked to my doctor about how much medicine he knows but would like to think he knows a great bit. How ever if my doctor continued to call out the same perscription for every time I went to the doctor I would question him. It's hard to believe Les Miles doesn't know football or breaking down defenses for that matter, but it's hard to tell with the product we have seen every Saturday this year. His offensive scheme is very simple at best which means either he doesn't believe in a complex offense or doesn't have players to run a complex offense. Whatever the case it's sad it has come to this that at a record of only one loss we are talking like we haven't won a game yet. I have always supported Miles and thought he was doing his job, but after last couple seasons it appears on offense we don't do enough to help our outstanding defense. Hopefully we can find a way to get better a live up to all our expectations.

Because of who was hired to replace Pelini, not because anyone thinks he had a say in personnel, development, scheme, or packages.

I give Miles lots of credit for hiring Chief. Chavis is the reason Miles is still the coach at LSU.

Right...Players got worse but offensive line got better. That's exactly how things work.

If you think Mullen has done more at MSU than Miles at LSU, then you are a bonafide rantard.

he means with the talent on hand.......but, he's a know-nothing-at-all type of poster as well. He bashes things without knowledge or consideration of the deeper details.

It's all relative to talent and where the program was when he arrived. I would say wait and see what happens this year. It's extremely difficult to build a program at Moo U.

He does not have the accolades that Les has(some are questionable, Saban players haha), but he has less talent than most teams in the SEC and they are 1 of the toughest teams to beat year in year out. While we are 1 of the most talented teams in the nation, but always play down to our opponent. Mullen with less talent plays up to there opponents, while Miles with more talent plays down to there opponents.

Thanks for having my back Charles.

O wait, didnt read the rest of your post. Deeper details as in what? Our offense blows because Les does what Les wants? Thats not a deep detail. Thats an obvious detail.

I am the same height I was last year, therefore I've grown!

Last year we won because our defense and special teams won them.

Statistics, though.

Deeper details: oline nagging injuries, comfort levels with position changes, mental barriers skill players are battling, etc.

I think that is exactly what happened.

Not all got worse, I really just mean Hurst and Hebert.

I think unit chemistry improved, causing better performance. If you like giving Miles credit for that, beautiful.

you guys are about as crazy as it gets. mullen can't hold miles' jock. miles has a NC and a couple of SEC championships. the best record in college football over the last 7 or 8 years and you compare him to a guy who just won his first sec west game (other than ole piss) after 3 years.
thats absolutely as crazy as it gets.
