I love looking at old Saints films and hadn't seen this since it happened. Funny thing is they keep playing through it.

I had no doubt Morton Andersen would drill the FG. I miss Morton.

Yup. With the 1 bar face mask.
His face mask was like AT&T phone service, only 1 bar.

Yes I Do!! That was the final score by the way. I was at this game. It was crazy! They had a bunch of fireworks in the halftime show that caused it. It was in 90 or 91 somewhere in there.

P.S. God I hate Steve Walsh and God I miss Morten.

I was there. Remember how terrible Steve Walsh was? And Carl Smith?

Yep, I had an eye level across from the gondola (top row of the end zone). Some of the halftime fireworks caught something on fire up there and it finally floated down.

You could tell that Carl Smith was the OC. Run on 1st and 2nd down, pass on 3rd and long. Kick FG. Don't miss that at all.

He motioned and ran to the left. Then motioned and ran to the right. They never saw it coming.

ETA: My favorite part is when they threw gatorade to put out the fire on the green, concrete floor.

Yep, Carl was one tricky play caller.
