I get it, some people don't like Guys approach or way of presenting American culinary experiments....he's not for everybody.

well man vs food has no redeeming values when it comes to the overall food culture at least the show DDD exposes some places people wouldn't know of otherwise, again this has nothing to do with Guy promoting mom and pop's, he's just there for the check.

I quit reading after page 2 but I like Guy Fieri. DDD is one of my favorite shows on the food network. Yeah, he can be cheesy and I wouldn't ever dress like him, but he puts on a good show.

Smaller establishments will thrive as long as their is a market demand for them. It's all driven by the consumer. It just so happens that a lot of people like chains and have never, ever visited a food and drink board. Some people don't take food that seriously. I guess you could be condescending towards those who don't share your interest or have different priorities, or you could grow the frick up.

i don't want to split hairs but MvsF has been to many of the same palces Triple D has been, but it was more of a Guys character is more polished than the other guys, I don't mind people making $ doing what they love.
