Yes, the fans were the ones that put grease on OBJ's hands

And since the Alabama game, for some reason, instead of rising above, learning from his errors and moving on to bigger and better things with LSU, he's showing what appears to be a self-destructive determination to prove himself right by continually repeating what has now repeatedly been exposed as ineffective about his coaching style and offensive staff's coaching styles (when allowed to coach).
For those thinking the loss will change Les, the NC embarrassment didn't so why would this loss?
This reminds me of the twilight seasons of Gerry Dinardo. It's not good for LSU.

what do you drastically change when going 18-2?
the NC game was lost at the f-ing O-line...no QB would have fixed that.
everyone is bitching about no passing game, yet we passed more than the Gators, so I just don't get the ratioanle. Perhaps catching very catchable passes or after a huge pass play don't fumble when being tackeled. these things change the dynamic.

I'd say that if LSU's receivers began catching and not dropping or fumbling, the changes would be drastically for the better. And I'd give props to both players and coaches for the change.

This loss individually sin't going to do shite, but if LSU struggles offensively all year and loses 4 or 5?
he's not going to have a choice.
he's not going to have a choice.

so why would this loss?
different team and necessity.
We have maybe 50% of the starters we had last year right now. We have a make-shift OL that is trying hard, but is not comfortable becasue of lack of experience at the positions they are playing. For CLM to run the offense he wants, he has to get the LB/S out of the box.
Last year was last year. We had a system and personnel last year that scored 40+ points/game against everyone but Bama. This year injuries have pretty much put prevented that coupled with mental mistakes.
In the past LSU has had bad losses. Some even worse than the NCG. We don't bring those up anymore, why do we have to keep looking at the NCG as if it makes any difference to the 2012 team. Seriously, the NCG had Brockers, Adams, Baker, Jones, Matheiu, Taylor, Claiborne, Brooks, Randle, Jefferson, Blackwell, Hebert, Faulk, Peterson, Joseph, and I am sure there were a couple others I can't remember. This year is completely different. If we ahd last year's OL, the offense would probably be completely different, but we don't so we are shuffling shite around and trying to hodge podge something together and win in the toughest conference in America.

why do we have to keep looking at the NCG as if it makes any difference to the 2012 team.
1. Because last year's team was last year's TEAM!
2. Because last year's team had already beaten Alabama in a bone-crushing OT win. But we won.
3. Because last year's team was ranked #1 for umpteen consecutive weeks and everybody knew it was legit.
4. Because last year's team, even when *CLM crammed JJ back down everybody's throats, still dominated the opposition every week but the first Bama game. And that one LSU still won.
5. Because the way the 1/9 game was planned and played was a total, absolute, complete, radical and shocking departure from the entire 13-0 season LSU had played up until that one game. The LSU offense did not show any life or spark; yes Bama is good, but we'd already proven in Tuscaloosa they were beatable. On 1/9 it was clear that nobody in an LSU jersey or on the LSU sidelines had faith in LSU's ability to compete.
6. Because that is a massive coaching failure, and *CLM is the head coach. And where does that buck stop?
7. And because this most recent UF debacle so reminds me of the 1/9 debacle that it's scary.
That's why.

Les Miles is LSU Captain Queeg.

I am tired of hearing this. JJ had 3 seconds on most plays to throw the damn ball or do something with it. 3 seconds is an eternity against Bama and you cannot expect a OL to do much better.
The game was lost when it was in the 3rd quarter and JJ basically ran over to a Bama defender and pitched him the ball.
Lee got sacked far less than JJ when you consider the number of sacks per drop back (or however it's measured).

Seriously Miles knows as long as does not do worse than the Peach Bowl year after year he is not going anywhere. Why would he change anything?

and this is the problem. Instead of working hard and insisting on strong discipline, he's taking the easy road. This does not deserve elite HC pay.

Probably not but it is obvious he does not give a sh-t. It showed on the sidelines on 1/9/12 and it has shown all season long.
Like a pro player that gets the big payday and cruises the rest of his career.
Some people have drive to accomplish more. Miles apparently is content and mediocrity appears to now be acceptable.

This is my biggest issue with Les. Even in the title game after the 1st quarter it looked like he just wanted to get out of there as soon as possible.
There is a reason this team has shown little leadership compared to last seasons and it all starts with how things shook up in that championship game. Les needs to prove to these players that game was just a fluke, but instead he's proving that game was the real Les.

It's a new season. Quit talking about 01/09.
