Yea... Sure, it was an AWFUL call and pretty much cost us the game.... but that was the most embarrassing display of ATL fans I have ever watched in all of my 20+ years of watching and Loving the Atlanta Braves.. I grew up watching Dale Murphy and Bob Horner and Phil Niekro..... Chief Noc-A-Homa is rolling in his grave right now... This is NOT true Braves fans.... Throwing shite at the players? Pathetic.... That was the most embarrassing thing I have watched in a long time in Professional Sports.

True, usually the stands are empty until they are deep into the playoffs.

Yea, the one run was crucial in a 6-3 ballgame.

Dude, if that had happened in Philadelphia or somewhere w a serious baseball fanbase, I'm not sure the umps make it out alive. Did you see what Chicago did to the dude who caught the foul ball??? Imagine this there.

I didn't throw anything, but I was glad people did. That deserved far more than a few boos. After about 15 minutes they were threatening forfeit, would have loved to have seen them try that.

Yeah. I was way too far into the upper deck and cherished my beer too much to throw it.

Sucks but I'm glad I saw that live. Never seen anything like that.

I probably would have called it "trashy" in the past, but for the amount of money someone spends in advance to attend these games, I'm not surprised. There isn't much a fan can do to "protest" when they have already dropped the cash. So, I say, throw shite on the field that won't hurt any body, they'll clean it up and MLB gets the hint.

I guess I just don't give a shite any more.

Exactly. ATL has a terrible reputation for not caring. I was just excited to see 50k people who were legitimately pissed.

What the hell did I miss? I'm trying to find something about this on SportsCenter but they are taking their sweet time to get to this game.

It was one of, of not the most, pathetic thing I've ever seen in baseball. Especially considering it was Chipper's final exit. If you're a braves fan that man should be one of your heroes and yet they blemish the exit of a legend because they're too pathetic to accept a bad break.

Like I said in an earlier thread I LOVE the braves and always will but goddamn I fricking HATE Atlanta.

Terrible infield fly call(way in the outfield). Braves think they have the bases loaded one out. Turns out they don't. 19 minute delay from all the trash on the field from pissed off fans.

Well, if you're a Bama fan too, you've cornered the market on the most embarrassing fans in college and pro sports.
