We really just need 1 of the next 2 games

Florida and SC are both going to be tough games but as long as we don't get blown out, it seems all we need to do is win one of them. Texas A&M is no push over but I think we win that one. It still comes down to Bama no matter what and that will be an emotion game in which I expect we play the best game of the year (like 2008, 2009, and 2010).
If we manage to pull out what I expect to be a close game no matter what, we have MSU, Ole Miss, and Arky all of which should be wins. Then we finish with the SECCG against potentially the team (UF or SC) that beat us. Hard to imagine a 12-1 SEC Champ that beat every team on its schedule were to be left out.
Obviously we have bigger issues right now than worrying about the NC, but point is if we lose to UF (or SC) I think we are in the same boat as if we win both.

Yeah Matt, I think you need to make this part clear before you get pounced on. But I agree, although it would be agonizing.

We need 2 out of 2 like a fat kid needs cake. We don't really need it but our minds are already made up that we'll die if we don't get it.

I agree with the OP. In my office pool I had us winning every game except South Carolna at home, and then playing them again in the SEC Championship. I stand by this prediction. That being said I picked LSU and Tennessee in the SECCG back in the spring so who the hell really knows..

And I will put it another way...if LSU had to lose one game the rest of the year, it would 100% be one of the next 2 games for lots of reasons.

Depends on your goal. If it's win the NC you need to go undefeated. A one loss team from the SEC won't get in over an undefeated Oregon/FSU/big 12 champ
