Who's betting this game? I got it as Stanford -6.5 and feeling pretty good about it. What does the board think? On the other hand I wouldn't mind U Dub pulling it off because it would make LSU's strength of schedule look that much better.

I'm on UW +7.

Might take a little on the ML too.

I think Stanford wins, but it'll be close at Washington. I wouldn't bet on it.

I think Washington wins straight up. Stanford got too much credit for beating USC and Washington got too much discredit for getting routed by LSU. Make no mistake, that was a great win over USC by Stanford, but I don't think Stanford is a Top10 team as the outcome of that USC game would indicate.

I think the teams are fairly equal (both fringe Top25 teams IMO when all is said and done), and I'm giving the edge to the home team in this one.

Washington at home on a Thursday night...

Hard to pass up the home team dogs in these matchups

If you think USC is medicre*, you're retarded.

*not a word. Besides, UW can't stop the run, so unless UW gets out to a big lead early, Stanford will pummel them.

I think we should have a thread strictly dedicated to college football bets.

Stanford is always a physical running team like LSU so I don't see this being any different than when we beat Washington. I've got Stanford -6.5

While I clearly hope my dawgs win, I am not expecting it, yet. Our offensive line is now missing 4 of our 5 starters. We have a senior center and 4 soph/frosh playing their first games this year.

Porter (med-retire)/Tanigawa(knee, out for year)/Kohler(kneecap out for weeks)/Riva(broken arm, out for weeks). All are out and Stanford may have the best defensive line in the Pac (maybe).

Stanford also has a good offensive line to our mediocre Dline.

Basically, we are outmatched on each line, so it most likely will be a loss, but any given... Thurs...day... right?

You're hilarious and such full of hate that you can't be realistic. Whether or not Stanford is overrated doesn't change the fact that some teams match up better with others.

Trees have 4 straight wins over SC and Udub. That streak doesn't end tonight. I've already said my piece on this game on a thread that's on page two.

Is an upset possible? Yep but doubtful.

Eta....don't think you realize how bad this udub team is. But you know all about the PAC

Come on, we're not that bad. 3rd place each of the last two years and we should be better than either of those teams.

Third place because SC was on probation. So technically 4th place. And there was quite a bit of drop off from the top 1-3 of the conference to the 4-8 level (and again from 9-10 and 10-12) those two years too.

It will all come down to the trenches tonight. And based upon UW's current situation (1 of 5 left) and the fact Stanford's lines have been impressive and have dominated us in the past... it likely won't be pretty again this year.....

Those past two teams beat this years team. Sorry but looking around the PAC and it looks like a bad year for you. Not over yet but those 4 inexperienced O lineman better grow up quick.
