It is beyond belief that Alabama does not play Georgia, South Carolina, or Florida. It is like this every year, Alabama never plays anybody in a row that is any good. They will play Ten then play Ole Miss or some second rate SEC team. Can our AD please go to the SEC office and lobby for a schedule that is fair to all. What a joke this is, LSU plays in a row Fl,SC,AM and off week Al. What a rough schedule.

they did get the luck of the draw from the East. That'll happen but it's not every year. With that said, they need to do away with permanent cross division opponents. Playing UF every year rather than UT is a pretty big deal.

They definitely got the easy road this year but that's not their fault imo. No one should ever have any questions about Bama's willingness to take on all comers.

I do think that with the new scheduling block, that the SEC needs to package our East schedule and Bama's East schedule as much alike as possible.

Like this

LSU plays USCe, Bama plays Missouri(this one is already established)
LSU plays Tennessee, Bama plays UGA
LSU plays UGA, Bama plays UF
LSU plays Missouri, Bama plays USCe
LSU plays Kentucky, Bama plays Vandy
LSU plays Vandy, Bama plays Kentucky

At least make it somewhat equitable. No way we should play UF and UGA one year while thye play UT and Kentucky.

Oh my god, are you guys really complaining about conference scheduling?

Florida played Alabama, LSU, Auburn, and UGA last....October. No bitching. It all balances out over time.

Are you kiddning me, there schedule this year is a joke. They don't play one SEC team that is in the top 5 or 6 teams in the conference, unless you count Missouri HA. They did not play Fl in 2007 or 2008 played in 2009 in SEC Ch game not on regular schedule. In 2010 when they had a legit schedule they played Fl and then SC and lost. One of the few times they played 2 legit teams in a row. They will not play Fl, SC, AM, in a row, don't worry they will stick Vandy or Kent for a break

Its a rotating schedule. They don't play Florida and Washington....instead they play Tennessee and Michigan. Pretty even to me

I agree with the original post that the system is unfair. I shouldn't be directed at alabama though. Yes they have a much easier SEC schedule than LSU virtually ever year. But that is the way the smart people at nonLSU schools want and the dumb ones at LSU want it.

People demand national championships here now want LSU to play Fla ever single year. If Fla. wins the east we we get the luck task of having to beat them twice if we win the west, which isn't likely because we have to play two teams in the east that are better than anyone from the east that alabama has to play.

It isn't fair to not rotate the east division opponents. There is no logic that says it is fair. We are stuck with a system that is not fair. Saddest part is half the people here like getting screwed on the schedule.

It is awfully convenient that they get a creampuff between all their tough games.

Quit being a pussy and worrying about who Bama plays. Tennessee used to be a tough game and it will again. Bama plays all those teams in the rotation. Just like we do.

Bama/Vols Series Record: 48-38-7

I have to admit, I didn't realize it was this close.

Come on now OG, those that are bitching about unfair scheduling are in the minority. I love our series together. Is it brutal for us both? Sure it is, but that's what the SEC is all about.

Alabama will not give up its game with UT, UGA and Auburn want to keep playing also. They should all rotate but that will never happen. Bama just got a little lucky this year with the rotation. USC got unlucky, it happens.
