I watched the first 15 min and just stopped. It had so much potential and so many good people involved behind the scenes.

i watched and couldn't get into it. the writing and acting sucked.

and they skipped over the actual apocalyse/disaster part of it. they skipped the sex to show the pillow talk. i'm usually not harsh on tv shows i wanna get into.

so did it get any better?

One question...

Why the sword fighting? Do guns not work without electricity?

not to nit-pick too much, but seriously...you watched 15 minutes and made up your mind about it already? It could be the best show ever made with a shitty pilot for all we know. (I know that's quite the exageration, but my point stands). At least give it an entire episode before you decide it sucks?

everything you said is totally valid.

and i'm not a "walk out of movie" kind of person.

don't know what was up with me that night but i could not get into it.

i guess i was expecting something along the lines and magnitude of the LOST pilot and this was not that.

This was one of my main issues as well. But I'll give it another couple of weeks.

I don't think it's going to last with me though. Not gritty enough. A little too clean or something. Hard to put my finger on.

reminds me a bit of flash forward which i watched for at least 6-8 episodes until i heard it got the ax and figured it didn't matter if i kept watching.

i haven't watched many new shows this season yet. i'm hoping "vegas" will be good but my expectations are low. love chiklis.

it's explained. Probably not up to the standards of the MTV board but it's explained

They have done a few little flashback things. So I have a feeling we'll see more about it through those, maybe.

I like it so far, I wouldn't say I'm hooked yet though. I'd give it more than 15 minutes if I were you.

With a decade or more of no electricity most (except hoarders, militias and the few that can reload). would be out of ammo for the guns.

A show like this would definetly be better on FX or HBO.

Well, the whole "what and why?" is the main plot of the show and what it seems to be based on.

Giving up on a show after 15 minutes is borderline laughable and makes it seem like you went into it wanting to dislike it and were just looking for any single reason to turn it off. Just my opinion.

nah, i'm not usually like that.

maybe i was in a weird mood or something.

i'm basically asking anyone who likes or dislikes the show to tell me what they thought of it. i'd be willing to give it another look if it really turned things around.

sorry i did a search but it looked like a watching thread and wanted something more condensed. (feel free to tie in stopped after 15 min joke here)

meh but passable?
ok, thanks for the info. that's kinda what i thought. so no reason to go back. DVR is too full as it is.

We didn't watch the second episode. I thought the show was flawed but had potential. Mrs. Baloo thought it blew donkey goats, and spent the last half hour mocking it ruthlessly. I forgot it was on, and didn't miss it.
