I'm seriously considering not watching the final two episodes because of tonight. So predictable, its just horrific. My money is that Barney has that stupid pendant, which there is no way he could have found it.

I think they could say that her dad told him something about it and he went and dug around and found it before she ever got out there. There isn't much Barney CAN'T do

That will not happen. When Ted refers to Barney and Robin he refers them as uncle Barney and aunt Robin

I told a buddy of mine that has sworn that Ted will end up with Robin will be if they throw a whoopsie daisy at the end and say, "did I say Robin? Oh that is your mom and this is your Aunt Robin". Essentially making Cobie Smulders his wife but not Robin anymore.

The wife was in teds class and at the bar on st Patrick's day. And lived with Rachel bilson. And plays bass in the wedding band at robins wedding.
She also was dating some dude 42 days before Ted met her

This series should have wrapped up a few years ago. It was a great show with a lot of great moments and had it called it earlier and wrapped up nicely it could have gone down as one of the best shows ever. Now people will remember more that they drug it out for a few years too long and went through the motions.
At this point, I almost want them to not show the mother in the season finale and then CBS just cancel the show so we never see her.

Just finished it, and I laughed because the first thing I said after was "I bet wildcat is fricking furious right now."
I almost always enjoy this show, and I almost always defend the episodes when people bitch about it. But this one was bad. Not only was if not really funny (the only thing that made me almost chuckle was the Bermuda Triangle curb), but we get yet another episode of Robin second guessing a marriage to Barney. And we get africkingnother ambiguous Ted and Robin "will they/won't they" moment (even though everything the show has ever said says they won't).
If they bait and switch Robin as the mother, it would be a giant frick you to every fan of the show. No way they would do that, right?

it was more of shock when i watched it. didnt think they had the audacity to pull that shite AGAIN. but i was so wrong and idk why i thought that. The only thing i like about that is that Barney and Robin dont end up together in that scenario.
But really i think they cant have a good ending at this point. No matter what they do it will be a Big F You to the fans and to everything they have said up to this point because they have contradicted themselves like 80 times the past couple seasons.
If Barney and Robin get married, then you look back and see that for the past 3-4 seasons the show has given you every reason why they shouldnt end up together but despite that, they get them together because you gotta get these guys married for some unknown reason and um those were just time wasters to squeeze some more money out of this
If you dont get them married then you have to do some big time backtracking because they have emphasized big time that Barney and Robin end up together and get married. And also makes a lot of the past couple seasons completely irrelevant and stupid. I am all for this but im just saying
They are more worried about having a big reveal and cliffhangers than they are about writing a good show
AND OH MY frickING GOD IF TED HAS ANOTHER APHIPANY BEHIND LIGHT MUSIC THATS SUPPOSED TO CHANGE EVERYTHING I MIGHT BLOW A GASKET
Every episode with that shite.

This show has done enough "wait, that was at the class I thought I taught" kind of moments that I wouldn't completely put it past them. I hope it's not Robin, but I wouldn't be completely shocked.
Also, can Ted get any worse? He's already the biggest betadouche in TV history, now he's trying to be the worst friend in TV history. WTF is wrong with this guy? Are they trying to make us hate him?

What I'm hoping this was is a device to allow Ted to prove he's finally over Robin. So next week at the wedding, Robin calls him into the room, and he can tell her confidently to go through with it and be happy about it. Thats the last hurdle Ted has to get over. If thats the end game, I'm okay with it.
If this turns into a whole Robin's really your mom thing, I'd quit watching. Dont care if its that last season. It would be a complete douche move and would basically make the entire story a waste of time. I just dont see that happening.
