Mett runs for 1st down but bad mark by ref, LSU staff missed chance at replay

on 3rd and 6 at their own 41 in the 2nd quarter, Mett runs out the pocket for 1st down. Ref marks the ball short. ESPN never took a look at the replay only concern was the chain mark. Miles’ staff upstairs completely missed a chance to review the play, instead punted. ESPN replay and their announcers missed it and so did Miles.

It was a spot that made sense. The overturned punt however after a close view should not have been overturned.

Not going to sugar coat it. Mett looked Luke a wuss going for those 2 big 1st downs. Someone with his size should have made those easy. He needs to man up. I thought he had a decent game minus those 2 plays.
