NOLA Bars

Classy, nice bars in CBD, Warehouse District, FQTR for conference goers? Swizzle Stick came to mind but still at work and can't think of others right now.

Everyone has named good stuff so far.

For high end, I like the Ritz Carlton bar or the bar at Windsor Court.

For the normal folks, the bar at the Montleon is hard to beat. Rotating main bar with music and a classy area next to it.

Ritz is great when Davenport is on, but go early or stand.

Montleon is the same way. Both I enjoy, but damnit I never get there early enough to find a spot.

I'm a lazy SOB. If I don't find a seat, I'm leaving within 30.

What about a good place to catch the second half of the LSU game.

We were thinking about Mannings or the Rusty Nail.

Those would work.

There is also a nice bar in the Hyatt that is kind of a sports bar.

The District has a great tv set up.

Rusty Nail is the NOLA Alabama alumni bar .. not sure when the Tide is playing but for a first-timer I would avoid the Nail for an LSU game. Awesome bar otherwise though.

If you're confined to that area I would pop in District or Lucy's to watch the second half of the game.

frick Manning's.

This probably won't be popular but I enjoyed Touche's the couple times I went

You can order food there and the bartender when I went made great drinks
