A few obscure favorites of mine:

The Hillmen - "When The Ship Comes In" -- An L.A.-based bluegrass group. Shortly after recording this track mandolinist Chris Hillman would leave to join a new band called The Byrds, who would also record some Bob Dylan songs.

Fairport Convention - "Open The Door Homer"

Leroy Van Dyke - "It's All Over Now, Baby Blue" -- The country star ("Walk On By") must have been one of the first in the genre to cover Dylan. This came out the year before the classic version by Van Morrison and Them.. The main riffs are curiously similar.

The Vacels - "Can Please Crawl Out Your Window?" -- A Four Seasonish vocal group tries to dig the new scene.

The Ramones - "My Back Pages"

Sam Cooke - "Blowing in the Wind" -- From the Shindig TV show.

Hendrix' version of Like a Rolling Stone.

Monterey Pop Festival June 1967 Like a Rolling Stone

Kafka, which version do you prefer?

ETA: Too bad the Hendrix family won't let You Tube show the video. Oh well.

I understand.

Which version do prefer?

No money, matchsticks, or testosterone involved.

You got me good on that one.

1) Never saw that pic before. Of course it was saved toot suite.

2) I didn't know it was written by the great bob Dylan.

Here's the obvious one with a twist.

Fairport Convention doing "If You Gotta Go, Go Now" in French:

"Si Tu Dois Partir"

They claimed they did it this way to make it sound more Cajun

No problem. I like that song.

Get the new All Things Must Pass.

It's remixed and remastered.

It sounds so much better than the original version than the murderers version,
