It's beautiful if you like a campus full of parking garages in basically downtown Austin. Austin is a great city, but let's pump the brakes on calling it a beautiful campus.

Texas is no longer in the picture. When he decommited he received multiple death threats. Mack called him and asked if he would reconsider and RSJ said never. Right now it's 50/50 LSU/A&M.

I know some people in Sealy and that is what RSJ is saying right now.

Must be. Tecas only likes to funnel money through the HS coaches, that's why they "stopped recruiting" RSJ.

Agreed. Austin is an awesome city and 6th street is a blast, but the campus is fairly concrete.

I thought I had read that authorities had checked into it and found no actual threats - I could totally be wrong.

In any event, anyone who actually did that is an idiot of epic proportions.

Here's an easy one. The extremely wealthy and well-known Texas man, let's call him "J," tried to have AP's dad transfered to a certain correctional facility and tried to arrange for special visitations by AP, with AP being told that it was the mighty Longhorns who really loved AP and this was but a small sign of good things to come if he'd sign with Texas. He couldn't ultimately pull it off, of course, as some things are even too big for ol' "J" ...

If you want the better stories of straight-up $$$ changing hands, or alumni hiring parents of recruits, well then you'll have to buy me a beer at Scholz Beer Garden

Good stuff..

AD picked OU mainly because they had the decided upper hand in the RRR and wanted to win championships. Dad being locked up in Texarkana would've given him similar drives from either Austin or Norman.

I'm sure we all have shady boosters along with rival teams conspiracy theories to go along with them. Maybe if you had offered Malcom more than a lifetime supply of Blue Bell he could be helping your defense right now.

Scholz Beer Garden and Aggy conspiracy theories sound good... right back at ya.

That may be enough to make me an Aggie.

Unlike some, I have no reason to post BS. I have a brother(Really good friend) that lives in Sealy and has a kid on the football team with RSJ. It's a small town and the dad's get the field ready, as well as other things. They know these kids really well and only want the best for them. He is a huge UT fan but, told me he wanted him to go where it was best for RSJ. Of course I said that would be LSU

I want a new thread. This one keeps saying street agent when that is NOT the issue here.

Agree. This has absolutely nothing to do with a street agent unless his dad is a street agent for his own son. I call that a father.

I'll wait and see what is said if Ashawn Robinson bolts. If it's street agent mess again then we know for sure it's just party line.

How in the Frick did RSJ become a Rivals 4 star?! just because Texas isnt in the running for him anymore?!?! The star system needs to be called the money system and they should use $$$$$ signs instead of stars!

Good question, yet he is still the number 1 rated WR in the nation.
