What's the best free VCU message board?

I'm pretty excited about transferring there next Spring and I want to at least know a thing or two about the day to day operations of the athletic department before I shove off to Richmond. If anyone knows of an A-10 board that would be good too.
TIA.
TIA.

Ask this sometime in march when Vcu is like in this national championship or something...then there will be plenty of lifers around that know EVERYTHING VCU

Transferring into downtown Richmond?

Watch where you live. The area around VCU gets very rough very quickly. We do a couple of AAU tournaments down there every summer.

Just stay within a few blocks of the cmapus and you'll be fine. They've pretty much bought out the entire area around the campus. Granted, a block the wrong way and there could be trouble but the VCU police are every fricking where and it's pretty insulated now. Not anything like it used to be. I'm down there all the time during the day and at night(college girls, you've got to love them) and never have trouble unless I'm looking for it.
To the OP, what are you transferring for? What sport? Also not sure about a site that's good for them. I'm a season ticketholder for the basketball team but don't really follow any of their message boards. It's a well run athletic program considering it's size.
Eta-VCURamNation.com seems to be an active free board that spans all the sports. Try that one.

quote:I wish I played a sport. I'm just transferring as a student. I'm finishing my last semester of community college right now (TCC). I started off at LSU but got homesick after a year and moved back home. Now that I almost have my Associates', I want to transfer somewhere that is still close to home that has a good Mass Communication/Broadcast Journalism program. ODU doesn't have Mass Comm, Regent is really expensive, and Norfolk State is, well, Norfolk State, and it's in downtown Norfolk.
