Any idea of how long he could potentially be out for? I don't have Lynch but I'm wondering if he's worth getting to simply keep him away from the guy who does.

I see Turbin as still #3 on the depth chart behind Leon Washington still.

shite he's still available but I can't find someone to drop.

Hillis
Redman
Moss
DJax
K Wright

Prob not worth it just to have a one week flex play.

I dropped Moss

quote:

A power back in the mode of Marion Barber, Turbin has already bypassed Leon Washington as Marshawn Lynch’s backup thanks to a strong preseason showing. Lynch has experienced back spasms for the second time in the past 12 months, leaving Turbin as the obvious “handcuff.” Should Lynch miss time, Turbin would have strong RB2 appeal.

Torrey Smith
Ben Tate
Tony Gonzalez
J Stewart
Big Ben
Nate Washington

Who would you drop and/or who would you replace Lynch in the flex with?

ETA: Ben Tate is a handcuff to Foster.

J Stewart- probably
Big Ben - depends on league, anyone pick him up if you dro him?
Nate Washington- good for this week and next, but long-term?

I'd say stay put or drop Stewart, but I have never liked Stewart

Now the real delimma. Do I play Turbin or bring Shonn Greene or mike Wallace off the bench for flex. Bumped Deangelo to starting RB with Gore

I have R. Jennings rostered. Trying to decide whether I'd rather pick up Turbin. I own neither starter and won't be starting either this week. This is purely a long term flyer.

Turbin is a one week rental. And we don't even know if Lynch is out.

Think long term

I'm trying to figure out whether I think Lynch's back is a long term problem. It's obviously a lottery ticket either way.

I have Rice, Charles, Matthews, and Martin. Odds of either of them starting are slim to none, anyway

My RBs are:

Mathews
Bradshaw
Ryan Williams
M. Bush
Ronnie Brown
CJ Spiller

WRs are:
A. Johnson
Amendola
Britt
G. Little

Who would you drop to pick up Turbin?

Thinkin R. Brown (although he is my Mathews handcuff) or Greg Little.

M. Cassel is my backup QB - who is another possibility.

Marshawn Lynch (back spasms) returned to a limited practice on Thursday.

Lynch's nagging back injury goes all the way back to his college days at Cal. While it's a positive sign that he returned to the field on Thursday, we will have to see if the movement exacerbates the injury. Back spasms are notorious for popping up again even after a pain-free practice or two. Although Lynch has stated confidence that he will play at Arizona, owners should check back Friday afternoon to ensure that he remains on track.
