Mingo sat about 10 feet away from me last night at the Bayou Jamb in Monroe. He had people ranging from 2-80 come up to shake his hand, take pictures, sign autographs, or just say they were proud of him/good luck this year/Beat Bama. I don't know how many people came up exactly, but he probably got to watch 4-5 plays the entire game without being bothered. He greeted each person with a smile and a yes sir/ma'am. He never got upset or frustrated at constantly being bothered.

I agree, but people should leave these guys alone in public. A quick "Good Luck" or "Geaux Tigers" is enough!

I hope it was just kids getting the autographs and
pictures.

I've seen him 7-8 times out and never said anything to him. I wouldn't want some random guy coming up and taking a picture with me. He always seems eager to give them whatever they want with a huge smile on his face.

this should be stressed in the media in baton rouge. really, the classy thing to do is to let the players and coaches have some semblance of anonimity when they are in public. i remember when i moved to nashville, it was stressed by the media and by my friends and neighbors to leave the "stars" alone and let them have a life. a simple nod of recognition or a pleasant "hi" is probably the best thing to do, imo.

I've heard nothing but good things about Keke off the field. He's a great representative of LSU.

We passed by each other outside the stadium on our way in. I said good luck to him and that I was looking forward to him and Sambo tearing it up. He said thank you Sir. Then he said I just hope Sam can keep up with me. It was all in good fun and hilarious. Great kid we got in KeKe.

West Monroe looked pretty good. I hope he stays in their ears about representing our state and going to LSU.

I'm sure it gets annoying but at the same time in sure he's loving it. He better get used to it, because he'll soon be a lot more famous.

If he didn't want anyone to bother him, I'm sure would gone somewhere else. When you go to a football game in your hometown and you're wearing all LSU gear, u probably expect some attention.
