Are earth worms the best? I've caught fish on earth worms before, but this past weekend I wasnt getting anything on them while fishing Empire. I'm thinking that the next time it rains, I'll gather those smaller worms that you find in your driveway and car port. Anyone ever try those?

I usually get the baby nightcrawlers and break them in half

I raise my own red worms so thats what we usually fish with. Tried to get nightcrawlers to keep, but they dont do good in a container.

I'm not sure it matters too much for perch jerking.

However, if you can find catalpa worms, they are more effective than the earthworms and nightcrawlers. They are messy though.

Why are you using worms in Empire?

What are you trying to catch?
