Great to hear, just hope he doesn't push it too fast. Repetitive knee injuries destroy your career and he's already had a few.

Aron Johannsson tweeted a pic from inside the Glasgow airport. I wonder if that rumored move to Celtic is getting closer to fruition. I honestly hope not. While the prospect of playing in the CL is nice and all, the SPL doesn't have a great track record of developing American talent. Additionally, his every day competition in the Eredivisie is substantially better than that of the SPL.

I'd be really surprised if that happens (if we get someone from there, it will be Finbogasson), but you're being a bit harsh.

1. We can pay him more than AZ
2. We (a) haven't had a real chance to develop talent and (b) he'll probably be with us for about a season if a move goes through, so it's irrelevant.
3. The EPL loves Celtic. We're even able to give them shitty guys and they keep coming back for more (see Jos Hooiveld and Ki)
4. He'll get more exposure in Scotland.
5. The SPFL will be a perfect warm up for Ghana

Oh wow, they're at the bottom of the Championship table.

ETA: 28 days is short.

Sebastian Lletget started and went 90 minutes against Nottingham Forest in West Ham's 5-0 FA Cup loss. Lichaj played 58 minutes in that same game.

He's been in the West Ham academy for a while, a bunch of people said he was the best midfield prospect they'd seen since Lampard and stuff yet he never really got first team chances. Hope he doesn't end up sucking.

Last I heard West Ham were calling him the best player to come out of their academy since Frank Lampard, but still hasn't seen the field for league play I don't think. The jump to the prem probably hurt his playing chances. FWIW, when asked who the best player at the U-23 olympic camp was, Terrence Boyd said Lletget. That group included Corona, Gyau, Adu, Mix, Shea, Agudelo, etc.

Gooch seems to be done at QPR, having never played.

Either it's time to come home to the MLS or retire.

Another goal from Bacon. Wasn't the most beautiful he has scored in his career.
