He needs to play 180 minutes in our final two qualifiers, absolute no brainer for me.

I wish so badly he didn't have to leave before our Mexico game last week. Would have been great experience at a time when we could have used a quality defender like him.

Mexico interested in Luis Gil playing for their national team. Not that I'm too worried about, but I would be devastated if Gilnaldo switched to the dark side.

Because I don't want to start a new thread and this is about Americans/world soccer..

The proposed date for the World Cup Final match is the same day at the Super Bowl (for the stupid arse Qatar WC)

Fox probably just simultaneously shite a brick and set off their lawyer alarm because they're going to sue the ever living shite out of fifa.

They are going to be at completely different times. What's the big deal?

Do people care about Super Bowl coverage at 9 in the morning?

Brooks was subbed out in the first half against Freiburg due to an injury.

Geoff Cameron scored his first goal in the EPL against Arsenal today. It would be cool if Stoke could start deploying him in midfield. He looked really good throughout the game and had a lot of poise on the ball in tight spots.

It's gonna be hard for him to pass up N'Zonzi as the holding mid, but I'd like to see him get some time there as well.

Nzonzi looked clumsy and aloof. I hope Geoff gets his shot. He definitely looked more poised than Nzonzi.

Cameron looked like Stoke's best player today. He's surprisingly good on the ball.

Easily. Did you see the spin move he did at the top of his own box to get away from the Arsenal players?

I saw him play once at Houston and he dribbled the entire defense by himself and scored left footed.

I wonder if he becomes a more solid option at RB for us for the national team. His versatility is really an asset to have. He's a smart player, too, which I love to see from US players.

Wasn't able to catch this match, I assume he's still playing as a RB?

Yeah, he was. His runs down the field were great and in the final third sometimes he moved more centrally (without the ball) to support the attack. That's how he got his goal.

His defending was really solid, too. That dude knows how to use his body. He got megged by Wilshire at one point but other than that did well.

Again, I would love to see him play centrally for Stoke.

OBU can you link us the match if you have it? I would love to gif the Cameron spin.

Also, JAB hyperextended his elbow and will be out for 2 to 3 weeks, putting his callup for the next set of qualifiers in doubt.
