Arya/Tywin-esque blessing in disguise IMO. Nobody wants to watch her arse linger forever.
Also, the show could still add Aegon later for the flow of the show and to stall some while waiting for WoW. Just a thought.

I could see it being an amazing cliffhanger with Connington, coming from out of nowhere, landing in the Stormlands and taking Griffon's Roost.

If you think about it, it's either that or watching Tyrion with Penny (not a fan) and Dany doing a whole lot of nothing.
I can't help but feel like Tyrion meeting up with Dany and Varys around is a significant upgrade.

On the one hand, that is nothing at all like I pictured Doran Martel would look.

he for sure could of been heavier cause I believe he has gout or probably diabetes
I know they stray from the books but I think they have the best intentions in what they do for the show.
I was pissed about LSH and if Aegon isn't there I'll be pissed too, but they do know more than us and hopefully they are trolling and it keeps us on edge until the book(s) come out

It's been a while since I read the books, so I don't remember exactly how Doran is described, but I like the actor so I'm fine with the casting.

Dang. The guy that played Baltar did such a good job with the role I think he would have done well with Doran. I didn't watch enough of DS0 to form an opinion on the actor who played Bashir.
Hopefully he'll do well. Doran is a pretty cool character.

Alexander Siddig was really good in Kingdom of Heaven. Also watching the trailer and reading the posts in this thread, I'm stunned that Varys said "she". I hope this is for show purposes as the Aegon arc is one of my favorites in the books.
