Honestly, I find it a relief they're moving forward with this. I just hope they're not cutting Aegon though, since that would be the biggest departure from the books yet.

So, sadly it seems as if the trailer has confirmed that Aegon is completely out. I have to say this will be the biggest departure in the series so far, and I'm kinda pissed about it. Seems with both Euron and Aegon out of the picture, they've dumbed down the series to merely Dany vs Cersei. Was it that hard for the Hodors to keep up with the War of the Five Kings? I'm not sure how much of a part Euron has to play, what I am confident of is Aegon has gigantic one to play. Guess Sansa may enter the fray at one point by her and Littlefijger taking out the Freys (pun intended), but that's really it.

Stupid hodors don't know what they want. It's their job to tell the illiterates what they want. They need to be worried about what the Book Readers want!
I guess they are very worried about inserting too many characters and too many arcs into the storyline of the show. I can understand that, maybe GRRM could have taken that advice as well.
Like some of the others in this thread, I'm tired of watching every episode waiting to be butthurt over every deviation. The show is going to do it's thing and I can't wait to enjoy it. GRRM can stuff his 7 years a book up his arse.

frick Aegon, dude...If he is in fact a Blackfyre, and it is eventually revealed in the books (which will end up in significantly less support for his claim to the throne) then why is his story even relevant to the show?
The writers know the ending of the story and they will not leave out anything of importance. This omission tells me that Aegon is in fact a Blackfyre and his story will seemingly be unimportant. With all the other story arcs they have to fit into a 10 episode season, it's really not that big of a deal.
I think you're being a snobby little bitch about it, if I"m being honest.
