It took a second read of feast for me to appreciate the dorne chapters. It took a third read to LIKE the dorne chapters.

Along with reading Cersei going batshit crazy and the Jaime chapter I think the Dornish parts were some of my favorite parts of AFFC even on my initial read through. But I was so disappointed with that book on my first read through after a five year wait that anything totally different probably stood out a bit more.

He is the anti-varys. Varys wants what is good for the realm but what he really means is he wants what is going to keep the system running as it is meant to. Little finger only wants to destroy.

we're on the same page. we've preached this throughtout the 200 pages

I really love LF. Definitely my favorite character

Has anyone played out at least in their own head what the final alliances will be.

I know LF controls the Vale, and is still Lord Paramount over the Riverlands. Add that to the fact that he is trying to marry Sansa to Hardyng to reclaim the North.

I see Dorne siding with Aegon and the golden company. The wildcard to me is what the Tyrells ultimate fate will be.

Here's what I think it will be at the end of WoW

Here are mine:

Aegon Targaryen- Conqueror of King's Landing and Lord of the Seven Kingdoms
- {{Jon Connington}}- Former Hand of the King, murdered by Varys for discovery of Aegon's true ancestry
- Varys Blackfyre
- Illyrio Mopatis- Master of the Coin
- House Tyrell
- House Martell
- House Hightower
- House Tarly
- The Golden Company
- The Faith Militant

Sansa Stark- Queen in the North, and Lady of the Vale and Riverlands
- Petyr Baelish- Hand of the Queen, Lord of the Riverlands, and Protector of the Vale
- Harrold Hardying- Lord of the Vale
- House Umber
- House Karstark
- Most houses of the Riverlands
- All houses of the Vale
- Brotherhood Without Banners

Jon Targaryen- Protector of the Wall and Rightful Ruler of the Seven Kingdoms, and True Protector of the Realm
- The Night's Watch
- The Free Folk
- House Manderly
- House Mormont
- House Reed
- {{Stannis Baratheon}}- Former rightful King of the Seven Kingdoms, who conceeds his realm and army to Jon Targaryen
- House Baratheon
- House Seaworth
- Asha and Theon Greyjoy

Euron Greyjoy- King of the Iron Islands

Daenerys Targaryen- Queen of Slaver's Bay and the Seven Kingdoms
- Tyrion Lannister- Hand of the Queen and Rightful Lord of Casterly Rock
- {{Barristan Selmy}}- Commander of the Queensguard, slain in battle in Slaver's Bay
- Jorah Mormont
- The Unsullied
- Former Slaves
- The Second Sons
- The Majority of the Greyjoy Navy

{{Tommen Baratheon}}- Former Lord of the Seven Kingdoms, poisoned by his wife
- Cersei Lannister- Queen Regeant, Lady of Casterly Rock, and on the run from Targaryen forces
- Qyburn- Former Master of Whispers
- Jaime Lannister- On the run from all armies
- House Lannister
- House Clegane
- {{House Frey}}- Almost entirely butchered by Sansa Stark and Petyr Baelish's forces
- {{House Bolton}}- Roose killed by Manderly Troops; Ramsay taken at the Wall

The Night's Watch stops being the Night's Watch when they take sides.

Jon's only priority for the time being is defending the Realm from the Others, not taking the Iron Throne, so the Watch will support him. Jon will get to the Iron Throne by saving the realm, not conquering it.

Where do you guys see the Others coming into play? Will their be an all out war with them or will they just stay like they are now picking them apart a few at a time?

All out war. I see the Wall falling at the end of WoW and the Others will begin their march south.

They'll take out a branch of them. Tom O Sevens is in Riverrun, and its not like it will be difficult to stage a mutiny there and let the rest of the Brothers in to kill all the Freys there. I think that will happen pretty close to the beginning of the novel.

Yes... I buy all of this. You have definitely taken LF deeper than I could have with only one read.

And it all makes perfect sense if you figure LF is responsible for Ned's head to come off(has this been decided/ discussed?) I know in the books Tyrion was attempting to figure who made the decision to take Ned's head.

I see it a little more tighter than that...

Varys vs LF vs Tyrion then the "pawns"

--Cersei(Varys) and all the alliances with Lannister and Aegon Targaryen.
--Sansa(Little Finger) and all the alliances with Stark(North/ Vale/ Riverlands)
--Dany(Tyrion) and unsullied, former slaves, 2nd Sons et al(I like the greyjoy navy as shark says)

What I don't know is where Dorne fits in this but I'll bet Dany.

But ultimately in the end Jon blows it all up and visualize a confrontation with Sansa after her beating Cersei in the "Game" and her being killed by him for a peace/ end.

It would be very sweet indeed to see a Targaryen ruling Westeros and Essos. In my opinion House Blackfyre is pure Targaryen as Dameons parents were both Targaryen, so the line started pure. Hell in my opinion that have a better claim than the last of the Targaryen kings.

So whatever Aegon is, Rhaegars son or a Blackfyre he is the rightful heir. Would love to see Jon and him join forces.

Where does Arya come into the end?

I bet she kills every last Lannister, Frey, Bolton and all of Joffery's small council.
