I think she'll always be Rhaegar's sister, not Aerys' daughter. I'm just saying that will be her reputation when she arrives in Westeros and no one will want to join her, especially since Aegon will be hailed as Rhaegar come to take his rightful place on the throne.

I agree. Rhaegar never becoming king is a linchpin moment in history for Westeros.

That is an awesome quote. It seems that the show writers may be giving us more about LF's motives than GRRM.

Power? That seems too simplistic.
I really, really, like the idea that LF is an agent of the Iron Bank. I have nothing to tie him to that, but it would be a perfect fit for that character.

I don't even think that LF wants to control the Iron throne. He wants the Iron Throne to become a figment of history. He wants to rip apart the system that denied him. He wants to END the rule of the great houses. The only way to accomplish that is to destroy the kingdom otherwise he will just be trading one powerful family for another and the system continues.

The system denied him his chance at love, coerced him into the most embarrassing situation of his life and claimed his innocence all in one day. Not to mention that the system also likely robbed him of what would've been his first born child.
He's pissed and anger is his main motivation. Although he has managed to control the flames of his rage and used them to temper his own personal blade. He has nothing to lose and he's already lost the only thing he ever truly wanted. So he's content to wait and watch the men who controlled the system scurry around like roaches with the lights on.
He is the anti-varys. Varys wants what is good for the realm but what he really means is he wants what is going to keep the system running as it is meant to. Little finger only wants to destroy.
