If these dudes are betting the farm on this (and to me, it really looks like they are), could this finally be the end of anyone legitimately taking anything they ever say again seriously?
Yes, Guilbeau is already a huge toolbag. But assuming he's a toolbag who's just dumping incorrect info out there, please tell me that people will nationally discredit him forever.

GG has been wrong over and over and has came off sounding like an a-hole quite often. What makes you think anything is going to change based on this stuff?
He is a hack and getting the attention that he craves.
I think Kleinpeter has just made a mistake as he is a damn good reporter.

No, In fact I would argue the opposite. They will get more readers and sell more papers/mags than before.
Think about how many people watch/listen Glenn Beck, how many of those people HATE him? People read stuff because they like it, people read stuff religiously because of how angry it makes them.

I really don't know why these guys get so much flack.
They don't make up reports. They don't pull this stuff out their arse. They report what people tell them.
