Kirk said on ESPN this morning that the dismissal of TM is a severe blow to LSU's SEC and National Championship aspirations.

Surprising?

No. You'll hear this over and over for the next four weeks. This is the only story in CFB other than Penn St which is played out. If he says "will it shouldn't ness scarily cost them a game" then he kills the story.

I dont think LSU will miss him. As a a fan... I will. But I think CLM dodged a bullet a with TM7. This thing could have blown up at the wrong time. Like midseason

This!

I also think a team lacking in depth (e.g., USC) would be far more hurt than a deep team like LSU.

Another factor to consider is that LSU's offense should be significantly better. A highly reliable, consistent offense should offset some of the need (although I still have a want) for big-plays like TM7 brought.

Finally, Beckham should be an adequate replacement on special teams.

LSU will be fine.

Funny that he and a slew of others we saying he was overrated. Now they are saying he was a non replaceable key to our run for a championship. Typical spin.

He was a playmaker and will be missed but one player does not make a team. time for the freshman to get their shine on.

Herbstreit is a prime example of a sensationalist "hater". The dude will accentuate the negative and run with it. Mark my words this will be his, and others', excuse to drop LSU in their voting. Until the tigers prove they are still the #1 team in the country.

He would have made a few great plays.

We will miss him.

Still can do the goals, though.

SEC west

SEC

and national champs.

We will miss TM7, Vinson and Gibson. A lot of FR are going to be the defenders for LSU and another championship run. I hope one or two are up to the pressure. South Carolina, Bama, and Ark will be BIG games for a freshman.

I hope one or two WRs are asked to practice both ways.
We need more depth at DB now with the losses of TM7, Gibson and Vinson.

Let's hope that these Freshman can step up the same way TM7, Simon, and Reid did a few years ago when we needed to find more playmakers.

Poor Herbie..., that may have been the case for most other teams, but not this one. Shows that he doesnt do his homework. TM will be missed for his swagger and play making abilities,

This is completely accurate. People who don't believe Tyrann's dismissal severely limits our ability to contend for SEC and National Championship contention are delusional. He made big plays in every game
