It better be Collins or some kittens are going to get sacrificed.

I'm hoping they use Dworaczyk as a versatile lineman. Let him play RG and maybe even give him reps at C. Be the first lineman off the bench if someone gets hurt...

Don't see how he can pass Collins up, who had a great spring...

Equal playing time with Collins being starter. Can't replace Josh Ds experience. Its easy to forget, he was a preseason all conference by most going into last year and AA by some.

What makes you think he's the same player coming off a major injury?

Les already said he sees Josh D as a starter, so who knows. I think they rotate.

Good point. It's hard to tell. However, his experience and leadership on the field will be, in my opinion, why he will see the field. He is really helping Collins develop according to what former Redemptorist coaches are telling me.

It wouldn't matter if he was all the way back, he shouldn't be starting.

His play was always subpar. If he has a vast knowledge of scheme and can field questions from the young guys, fine, let him play that role while being an experienced backup. But let's not relive the debacle that was Dworaczyk playing guard in 2009 & '10. It was excruciating watching he and Hebert try to play inside.

Collins is elite. Its his time.

I'm not one of the people on this board that blast people for anything I disagree with. In fact, I went to the same HS as Collins. He's a great kid and an outstanding lineman. However, if you get the chance to watch replays of games Josh D played in, watch the line of scrimmage, not the just the RBs like most people do. You will see why he consistently graded out so high. To call his play a "debacle" is a bit unfair.

Dworaczyk might get the start week 1, but LC will be the man. It sucks b/c before the injury bug started Dworaczyk had a chance to have a decent NFL career.

Sorry I said great a combo of Purple and Gold glasses and watching the olympics.

woah woah woah. as noted earlier, I don't think Josh was as bad as ppl made him out to be (particularly in 2010), but great NFL career? maybe great shot at making a roster - as a tackle.

Sorry I'm watching the olympics..... Hearing the word Great to much. Decent...NFL career. There's a lack of OL who can play inside and OT. 4 years of playing against NFL quality DT's and DE's would have had him ready for the league.

This is he would have stayed healthy.

Love Josh D,but Collins is on another level and will start this year at LG before his move to tackle to replace the first rounder Faulk.

Nope. I did watch every game. Always do, then watch the replays and focus primarily on the lines.

Dworaczyk always had one glaring issue. Getting overpowered at the point of attack. YOU should watch replays of the games if you are unaware of this. The rest of his game seemed to be fine.

He moved pretty well. Never recall him being out of position, or just blowing an assignment. But he never could match up with the big SEC DTs. He got pushed back into the backfield often blowing up plays, gave up sacks and was just physically dominated.

He played guard out of necessity, just like T-Bob. And it is no longer necessary. We have a physical anomaly who can take the reins at left guard. Btw, Collins will be much better than Blackwell ever was.

Why do you think neither Dworaczyk or Hebert ever generated any draft buzz at a place like LSU where backups get drafted? Because you turn on the tape of '09 & '10 and you see those guys get blown up and overmatched physically on a routine basis.
