Has it been announced anywhere whether or not Bolden is eligible or not this year? Is he being consider a typical transfer (since he was released before the sanctions) or part of the NCAA sanctioned Penn St. transfer ruling?

For what's its worth, I say Miles puts him in to run a specific play near the goal line by mid year as he did with JJ after his suspension.

God love Miles, he simply can't help himself!!

They say he was given the #9 jersey.

He's good to go. Hope we don't need him but it's good to know he is on our sideline in the event something bad happens to Mett.

I heard JJ gave Bolden his naked pictures of Miles

Sorry. I had to, but seriously we've talked about this kid enough.

From what I gather Bolden is more "cerebral" than JJ

No, you're not all knowledgeable.

I'm not comparing anybody to JJ--only Miles propensity try to force something.

Good for all of you that have unbridled faith in the man---I'll take him for what he is.

Why would you ever have thought that? Though, in fairness, it is less a matter of not being knowledgeable than it is a matter of not being particularly bright.

Look, I would LOVE to be wrong about this---but I go into this with my eyes WIDE open. If you don't think the possiblity (some might say probability) exist that Miles will not be able to help himself by doing something like insert this kid he what he believes to be a "targeted situation" my mid season, than we've been watching too different coaches for the last several years. To be sure, I have a love/hate relationship with the man, but I'm under no illusions.
The good news about my assertion is that whether you agree with me or not, we will see how it turns out in a few months.

Exactly my feelings.

LSU fans would fricking be done with Miles if we're chugging along with Mett just fine and he subs in Bolden more and more until eventually he's the starter. All culminating in a loss to Bama around 24-3.

Agree.

I hope Miles doesn't pull a NC game deal.

Most of the concerns I've heard from fellow Tiger fans is what effect this has in the locker room. You have players who have been with the program for years and now this transfer newcomer comes in and messes with team chemistry. I'm trying to determine my thoughts on the validity of this.

What about our starting QB after he transferred, same concerns? Players are fine. It's the stupid, racist fans who project that it will mess with team chemistry.
