Say both fall to you at the same time in a snake draft. Would you take both of them on your team say in the 2nd round? Start 1 at flex and the other at TE

Yes. Easily. Pretty sure they both scored in the top ten with WR's last year.

would take both, maybe not the 2nd round, but definitely the 3rd and 4th.

They won't be there. (assuming 12 teams)

depends on the scoring system.
Based off what i've been seeing, RBs are weak this year. There is a major dropoff in points in this group with not a high number of single back teams. IMO it makes RBs more valuable and a higher need to get a very good one.

I have considered this if I get the last pick in a 12 team PPR league. I feel I would have to #1 WR and screw everyone else at the TE position. I just wonder if I could still grab 2 RBs and 2 WRs good enough to feel comfortable.

True but if you get a solid RB in the first and can get graham and gronk in the second and third it would be very easy to find a decent back to fill the other RB spot. Having those two TEs will more than make up for the slight loss at RB2

I don't see either being there in the third round both are going early to mid second. The only way to get them would be late first and early second. I would really consider it in a 12 team league ppr.

depending on who's drafting i cannot see these two players being there at pick 17 i think you see both of them go before then

but to answer your question yes i think these two are 2 confident picks in a fantasy league this year that has a lot of uncertainties

Id leave both alone. No value in the 2nd round, you are only just getting what you paid for.

I'd go Finley in the 6th instead(12 man)

He was somewhat underwhelming last year even though he did finish 5th. But remember:

quote:

After posting two 100-yard games in the first three games of 2010, Finley suffered a season-ending knee injury against the Washington Redskins. He was placed on injured reserve by the Packers on October 18

like he old adage about RBs, it takes 2 years to come back from knee injury....well this will be Finley's year 2. And a Value pick.

Yes. Might even consider them in round one depending on the league settings. Both guys are money.

It would be hard for me to pull the trigger for 1st and 2nd rounds. But if you are picking late in the second round and early third, I would love having a Foster/Mccoy/Rice, Graham, and Gronk. You could throw in a second tier QB the 4th or 5th round (Vick, Romo, Rivers, Manning) and then stack receivers. You would be tough to beat.

I doubt both will make it back to you for that. Although, stranger things have happened.

FYI, 10 team league, could look like:

Tony Romo
Arian Foster
Beanie Wells
Steve Smith (car)
Steve Johnson
Jimmy Graham
Rob Gronkowski
DST
K

I would worry about possible RB depth and WR depth, but you can find value. If Foster, Graham and Gronk hold up close to what they did last year, you are in for some high numbers. Romo usually had solid numbers also. Not to mention if Steve Smith can repeat his performances from last year. Just some thoughts

I have 12th pick in my draft...considering taking them both. Will definitely take Graham in the 1st unless Brees or Rodgers are still there in which case I will take Brees/Graham.

I like this move. This will really limit other's ability to draft a HIGH quality TE and if you have the ability to play both...you can and will.

This will piss off so many people.

Got to do it if you have the chance.

I'm drafting 3rd overall, so I'll have RR, AF, LM and then hopefully one or two of these guys.

You're reaching for graham if you are picking him up early in the 2nd rd. I'd try to trade up to like 7 or 8 in a non-ppr league to see if I could get calvin in the first and then graham later in the 2nd.
