Goon with Sean William Scott
Posted by Wooly on 7/3/12 at 11:20 pm00
just finished this film on netflix with the gf. we both loved it, SWS plays the role of the stupid goon perfectly, hes a nice guy that will kick your arse! we were laughing throughout the entire movie. I highly recommend this movie if your looking for a funny film to watch, pretty impressed with what they did with such a small budget, aside from the obvious cardboard cutouts..... you will notice them when you watch it

Very good reference. He is always solid in his roles. Not a HR guy but always solid for a double or OBP.
Just watched it. Got it for a buck at Red Box. Good cheap laughs, surprisingly well done for a peanuts budget and just top to bottom good stuff. Easy watch as well at just over 90 minutes.
Slapsht re: Nowhere near Slapshot good but but still very solid. Watered down version I'd say.
Side question: Whatever happened to the obligatory 90 minute movie from the 90's ? I don't need to see a comedy at 3 hours long. Character and plot development isn't THAT important for a comedy about romance.

I liked it a lot, it had a lot of heart and I was actually invested in SWS's character. I'd never heard of it before, did it not get a wide release?
Also Ricky from Trailer Park Boys had like a 3 second appearance at the beginning of the movie, I was disappointed he never appeared again.
