Dear God 2 points ahead of the worst Arsenal team in God knows how long. Absolutely pathetic, how is Rafa still at the club?!?!?!

At this point of course he will. It shouldn't even be close. Rafa/Roman has sucked all the fun out of CFC. I barely even get excited about the matches anymore.

You serious dude? Rafa will provide stability alright. We'll be firmly entrenched as a mid table club nobody wants to play for and fans won't turn up to watch/support. Everyday that fat derelict is in charge sets our club back further. He's the absolute worst.

At some point, I'd just like to have a consistent guy in charge. I can't take this new manager every year crap.

Rafa needs to go..biggest mistakes were 1.) letting di matteo go this year 2.) not giving AVB nearly enough time to establish stabaility 3.) letting go of ancelotti and 4.) letting the CHOSEN ONE slip away .....roman reminds me of a jerry jones type owner...too much power of club and soccer personel...give a manager time and let him produce results...romans greed overtakes everything..of course we all want championships every year, but face it, that will never happen...stablility and trust need to be established within the club

CONSISTENCY IS KEY...in field play, and at the managerial level

Last manager (fans) you ran off, is now above you in the table... I agree with BHO, that you guys need some stability. Rafa the answer? Probably not given the circumstances, he was never going to succeed there... Was always an odd hire..

AVB was a terrible fit for Chelsea at the time and his firing was well deserved. The fact they are above us in the table is a testament to Rafa's putridity.

I think everyone agrees with this, which is why the FSW needs to go and we need to get a real manager in ASAP.

AVB was a terrible fit if Roman never intended to let him build and shape his team... Which is what AVB tried to do...

Rafa was brought into a sinking ship, a lost cause and the results have shown that...

Di Matteo was the safe pick, fans choice... similar to King Kenny for us.. Although KK won in the past, we were myopic enough to think he could do it again...

edit: I dont know what Chelsea fans thought about Di Matteo other than sentiment... I cant believe you thought he was the answer...

Tried too much, way too fast. Also, the players know him as Jose's video boy he was never going to have respect in that locker room.

We were right in the thick of the race before Rafa got here, we had a few bad results during the Terry trial/suspension but overall the team was playing ok.

I don't think anybody saw him as the long term answer but no way he should have been fired when he was unless they somehow had somebody in line to take over for him in the middle of year who was going to be the long term answer. Every single person in the world knew Rafa was a terrible hire and it has played out even worse than even most people thought it would.

I agree that Di Matteo should have seen out the season, as an outsider I didn't think you were contending for the top spot...

Maybe it was the shame of being the first ever CL winners to be bounced out at the group stages that made Roman pull the trigger??

Either way, Rafa will be gone... You think its definitely Mourinho?? although, that doesnt seem like a good fit either after how he left.
