There's been some nice pieces written about Henderson lately (one by Michael Cox), and his road to redemption... Out of all the Dalglish/Commoli signings, other than Luis, he was the one I wanted to succeed most of all...
I know myself and a few others on here have always backed him to come good.. I was beginning to think his qualities were lost on BR, as he tried to sell him in the summer and tried almost every other midfield combo before coming to him... he's been a mainstay with Gerrard and Lucas ever since...
He's still got a ways to go, but here's to the kid's perseverance... perhaps, future captain of club and country!

I'm glad we didn't sell him. At his age, he's too technically skilled with such a high motor and drive not to succeed. And as much as we hated seeing him play purely on the right by Kenny, I love his versatility now. He's still best utilized in the middle as we've seen this year, but it's nice to have a guy like that on your squad, especially with his energy.

In hindsight, I'm glad Kenny played him out wide last season. He grew as a player. Rafa always used to say how much playing out wide helped Gerrard's development.

Beginning to wonder how important Steve Clarke was for our defense

FUCCCKKKKKK!!
Outplayed these cocksuckers twice and twice they equalized on two stupid errors on our part (Skrtel's back pass in 1st game)

It is awesome to be a Liverpool fan.

I mean, I still am a believer and think we are getting better... Not a mistake you would think Pepe would make..
Still lots of positives, but we are a few key players short and a mentality that gives us the resolve to finish these games off..
I just hope Luis meant he would stay w/o CL, because he is going to get many tempting offers this summer..

Everything you just said, I agree with. Make no mistake, I couldn't be more pleased with our progress and effort. I'm just sick of losing points from dumb dumb mental mistakes. It's infuriating.
That said, I'll take these draws if it means we actually beat the teams we should beat.

On the bright side, Sturridge has been better than I expected. Much better technical skill and ability to hold up play than I expected

Thats the main thing I like about the SB LFC fans... I feel most, if not all here, are of the positive mindset...
Some of the more "official" boards are filled with delusional reds...

This was a comment on reddit, and I'm applying it here. The next time Liverpool holds a lead against a top 5 club, I will buy my next jersey.

Absolutely, a steal at £12mm... and I agree, he is a lot more than just power and pace, his technical ability is outstanding...
We also have yet to see Cou, so I'm looking forward to him being introduced to the squad..
Good thing is our midfield now seems set... Lucas is getting back to where he was pre-injury and Henderson will keep getting better and better with every start..
I kept hoping Pepe would play his way out of his slump, but I think the writing is on the wall... I guess Begovic is up for grabs this summer.. we'll see...

Fantastic match. LFC really "came into their own" and found an identity IMO. I love the look of this team moving forward, and even though 4th is likely impossible this season, next season will be fun to follow.

Nah, I think we all knew this going into the season. We all knew the challenges Rodgers would face, and I think the consensus around here agreed that 5-7 is realistic considering this transition.
