It happens.

Not as bad as Adenayor's did Man City or atleast 8 others on their squad.

What in the actual frick.
Why the hell does Park make as much as Ramsey and Gibbs?

Andre Santos £12.4m
Marouane Chamakh = £12.4m

This was his lisy of wastage we've spent. I think some of these names on here are laughable. Szczesny, gibbs and ramsey have been far from wasteful (only reason I consider diaby wasteful is bc of his injuries, nothing wenger can control). It is pretty crazy to see some of those players wages, though.

Why would a striker who was only brought in as cover be on these wages?

The Chamakh, Denilson, and Bendtner wages are like a knife in my heart. My wallet (pocketbook hurr hurr) weeps for that wasted money.

Ramsey wasn't wasteful in the fact that he had potential, but if we resigned him now to that level of wages I'd consider it wasteful yeah

Just fyi, those contact figures are estimates. Nothing was leaked. And the players on loan we aren't paying that full figure. Though it's clear our equitable pay scale system is stupid. Pretty sure Poldi is our highest paid at ~£90k/wk.

Took the words right out of my mouth. Arshavin/Cazorla made me chuckle.

Yea I noticed that in the article as well. He seemed sure of the exact wage amount, but could only roughly estimate how much each player was making. Regardless of who gets paid what really had no bearing on the inherent point of the article though.

Yeah, our wage structure has certainly held us back in trying to cut dead weight. We're also pretty quick to extend young players to longer deals and bump them up a pay grade or two.

In two years we'll be able to better compete with the big spenders, but it might be too late by then. I'm worried if we miss out on the CL we might be out for awhile...

Also, very interested to see if we try anything different versus Schalke.

Ramsey is out. Calf injury. Would guess that means both Gnabry and Eisfeld have a shot to make the traveling squad.

Because he was brought in on a free. I doubt those are his real wages as well.

In addition to the fact that our best players won't get their market value salary if they stay with the club. It's obvious we can afford higher wages though.
