From BR, but been in NO for awhile now, and its been tough to find a good cheap meal (under $10) normally for lunch.

I'm thinking of Atcha, AM Mart, Inga's, Jays BBQ that were in BR.

Any suggestions?

Lunch be crazy now a days...uh I say just pony up another dollar and go to Parkway. NOLA isn't cheap cost of living wise anyway, at least compared to BR.

this is important

but, off the top of my head:

if you're in Harahan: Cafe Latte Da, Danny & Clydes, Red Wagon Grocery

also there's the taco truck on Claiborne just west of Carrollton that's cheap or Paisanos (mexican grocer) on Claiborne @ Louisiana.

Need to stop pimpin that place it's become one of those places I have to go either early or late just like Kim Ahn.

I eat in uptown or Metry every day and never spend more than $10 unless I'm eating sushi and that's still on $16.

La Profecia is good stuff. And it's hilarious that they call their food The Prophecy.

Also found Regla Mart on D'Hemecourt off of Carrollton - they make a great cuban for six bucks
