So you think he'll end up at TE? We're gonna be loaded there.

Will definitely be nice to see two TEs like DeSean and Washington. I don't think LSU has had a TE in the mold of these two

We won't be "loaded" at TE, bro. No TE on our roster strikes fear into opponents.

I meant in a couple of years if we have Smith and Washington. Two guys with that kind of talent is pretty loaded, bro.

yea he is a good kid from a good family. he has been under utilized but with a new coach this should change. he has been having some really good camp showings and he will be a priority of the staff next year like smith is this year.

westlake will be running mcneese's offense this year so hopefully he will see more throws his way. he is a wr right now but will be a te in college. His dad played college ball somewhere in arky if im not mistaken. Westlake is a huge lsu town and I cant see him ending up anywheres else.

You could tell this kid had the talent since 5th grade, im just glad he is living up to the potential unlike so many others that have come through westlake but give up football, switching schools etc when they had the talent to play college ball.

He was the first TE we put into the 2014 LSU/Louisiana prospects thread. Hope he likes The Tigers as I feel sure they'll like him.

He does like the tigers. His top three right now is lsu, a&m and arky. Like a&m for the offense/coaches, arky because his dad played in the state.

WT you should goto agame this year to see him play. He plays wr rigt now but will be a te in college. Hopefully the new coaching staff gets him more chances then the previous one did.

Anyone know what's his 40 time is? I don't know, maybe it was the offense he was playing in but from the film it didn't seem to have that burner type of speed. Looked like a slow 4.8. Didn't look that shifty either, but he does have a great frame to bulk up on. Who knows maybe Moffit can get him down to a 4.6/4.5

I'll be deployed for close to a year. I just keep up with recruiting from the boat.

If he is a legit 4.8, that's fast enough for a TE. Gronk ran a 4.7, Gresham ran a 4.75 and Finley ran a 4.8. The two highest TE picks this year (Fleener and Allen) ran 4.7 and 4.9, respectively.

Guess I've just been used to seeing Deangelo Peterson who moved live a gazelle the last couple of years. Off subject but anyone know where he headed up? Definitely thought if we had a better QB that he would have gone a lot higher last year

The kid is a legit 6'5" and 215lbs. He clocked a 4.63 40 with a 39.5 vertical. He's built like a Jimmie Graham. Coach Moffit predicted he'll bulk up to 235-240 easily and that would be mostly muscle

I will have to check this guy out. The lake Charles area finally has some legit talent again. Smith and jones this year, Washington and the white kid from barbe(can't think of his name) next year.
