Football: Billy Cannon? Kevin Faulk?

Baseball: Todd Walker? Eddie Furniss?

Basketball: Shaq? Pistol?

Greatest Tiger: Les Miles?

Let's have a bracket to see who is the Greatest LSU Tiger in the history of LSU. Let's compile a list of potential nominees (say 32?) based on your feedback. You nominate some more for a bracket, and I'll seed them based on your picks.

Billy Cannon
Kevin Faulk
Les Miles
Charles McClendon
Skip Bertman
Nick Saban
Shaquille Rashaun O'Neal
Pistol Pete Maravich
Dale Brown
Todd Walker
Jacob Hester
Tommy Casanova
Albert Belle
Ben McDonald
Mike the Tiger
Yelberton Abraham Tittle
David Toms
Chris Jackson
Alvin Dark
Mark Emmert
Tyrann Mathieu
Bert Jones
Huey P. Long!!
Eddy Furniss
Warren Morris
Brad Cresse
Lolo Jones
Seimone Augustus
Josh Reed
Alan Faneca
Joe Dean
Bob Pettit
Kevin Mawae
Glenn Dorsey
Don Reddon
Xavier Carter (track, not football)
Richard Thompson
Muna Lee
Esther Jones
Charles Alexander
Doc Fenton
Jerry Stovall
Wally Pontiff

43 solid Tigers here...we'll narrow it down to 32 and have a tournament to determine TD.com's Greatest LSU Tiger ever. Nominate a Tiger Great.

The Greatest Tiger may have the greatest achievments as a Tiger and after leaving LSU or promoting LSU as an ambassador or personifies the Spirit of LSU.

Shaq has to get mention for greatest tiger based on his on court performance and all that he's done for the university since.

Shaq has been a great ambassador for the university in my opinion; even done more for it than the great Pete Maravich.

I think, right now, Les Miles could definitely be in the running for "Greatest Tiger" along with Skip Bertman.

WTF? He can't hold Skip's jock. He's not even in the conversation. Obviously you're trolling.

Skip is one of the best college baseball coaches in the history of the NCAA so I would go with him over Les Miles.

i don't think so, but can a baseball coach really be the "Greatest Tiger" at LSU?

The greatest tiger is Pistol Pete Maravich. 44 points per game for 3 varsity years.

well considering LSU has one of the most successful baseball programs in NCAA history and other schools try to model their program off of ours I would say yes
