I actually kind of like the idea. The uniform seems authentic. I could definitely see those being worn in the 70s. I like the hat.

Unis aren't bad, but I think they are just trying way too hard. There's no need to try and create tradition when there is none.

I love the haters in this thread. Who cares if the Rays want to make up throw backs. It looks like they are having fun with it. They look like legit 70's throwbacks to me.

Don't hate. If TB wants to sport an ugly/old looking uni from time to time, why not? Being a new franchise shouldn't hold them back from having a little fun.....
