Tomorrow and Friday, Peterson is playing with Patrick Cantlay, who has been an amateur player in some tour events, and Ryo Ishikawa

Hopefully he keeps some momentum going from that US Open finish. As others have said, he is physically and mentally tired after the past month, but a hell of an accomplishment last week has gotten him some attention

I'll be trying to catch some of the shot tracker online with the former Tiger in action tomorrow morning

Solid start to his round

Hasn't Cantlay been talked about for the past year or so as the next great golfer? Not sure if he accomplished much at UCLA, but has put together some impressive stuff on tour

Last weekend I played with a guy who played a few rounds with Peterson and he said the guy hits the straightest ball he's ever seen. Every shot driver thru wedge is dead straight. He's not one of the longer guys on your but makes up for it with accuracy

And he would probably say this about almost any pro. The overwhelming majority of them hit the ball very very straight.

Birdied two of the final 4 holes to get back to Even. Hopefully some momentum going into tomorrow.
