Any chance at all for the Thunder in this series?

I think if they can get it to game 6, they've got a pretty good shot at the series, both because 6 and 7 are home and they'll also have some momentum and confidence. But I have a very hard time believing they'll get it there. There's that psychological disadvantage being in a 3-1 hole and on the road provides mentally, but they also seem extremely out of sync in the offense. Durant seems timid at points, Harden's having issues, Westbrook was incredible, but if he does that and it's still a losing effort, that's pretty scary.

Unlike last year, LeBron is playing like he knows he's the best player in the world. Role players like Battier, Chalmers, even Cole a little have stepped up. I think Miami can taste it on the tip of their mouths and will close, especially a guy like LeBron who wants a ring so desperately, I think he'll come out on fire Thursday. At the same time, however, maybe I'm wrong and the Heat will come out a little lackadaisical/overconfident with their big series lead, and the Thunder will put a full game together. If that happens, the series will get very interesting.

Nah. If it goes back to OKC, the Heat will steal one

Only if Lebron is hurt or physically exhausted to the point where it severely impacts his play.

I doubt they have much of a shot at all but I'd like to see them get the next one and extend it a bit. Always love a championship game 7.

I think there's a chance. I don't really care about the "no one has come back from 3-1" stuff. These games have been close and competitive and the Thunder could've pulled the game out today.

yeah, okc has no one that matches up with lebron.

thabo does better than most, but brooks rarely lets him defend james.

No team has ever even forced a game 7 after falling down 3-1 FWIW

It's worth nothing :duuno:

I don't see how OKC can win three in a row against this Miami team. Using Vegas odds they have about a 15% chance to pull it off.

Like people like to say, "one game at a time."

If this Lebron injury is a lot more serious than everyone thinks and he can't play, yes the Thunder have a chance

I think the number was something along the lines of 90% for the team going up 2-0 in the conference finals. I saw it and was worried. The Thunder came and won four straight.

If the Thunder can win just that final game in Miami - then it's two games in OKC. Anything can happen.

I forgot about that. If they can win 4 straight against that Spurs team then I don't see why they can't win 3 straight against Miami, 2 of which are in OKC. Harden needs to stop playing like arse and quick, though.

That's generally because there's a huge mismatch if it gets to 3-1, where the team up in the series is much, much better. I don't think that's really the case here.

As I said, I still think the Heat close it out, but I wouldn't be surprised at all if the Thunder get it back to OKC and force a game 7. I think the bigger deal here is the mental side of things, not physical, so if they can figure that out, they've got a pretty good shot.

honestly why?

miami played pretty bad in game 3 and still won without relatively much resistance.

in game 4, RW had to score 40+ to even give okc a chance.

okc has had one good game this series and they have huge mismatches when attempting to defend lebron.

OKC stands no chance if they're playing against the Heat AND the refs!

Stupid sarcastic shite like this, is as bad as the "Lebron haters" posts that you call out in the game thread.

i think it goes to game 7

it will be hard for the Heat to win 4 straight...and then back at home OKC can take 6

idk if OKC can win 3 in a row though but they did it against the Spurs

im not counting them out yet

It's as idiotic to poke fun at conspiracy theorists as it is to be a conspiracy theorist?
