I don't think OKC mentally has it in them. The refs mind frick them and they pout when things start going against them.

Only way they get out of Miami is if they get up big and don't let go. I don't see them winning a close game at this point in the series.

honestly why?

miami played pretty bad in game 3 and still won without relatively much resistance.

in game 4, RW had to score 40+ to even give okc a chance.

okc has had one good game this series and they have huge mismatches when attempting to defend lebron.

True. But I think with the Thunder's depth and versatility, they have more than enough talent to beat Miami. Harden (you have to think there's a good chance he decides to play some basketball soon, besides his game 2 start), Westbrook, Durant, Ibaka... all are very good-great players. Keep in mind, out of the four games, only one was not in doubt in the final minute, and that was the Thunder win. All of Miami's could have went the other way with a few breaks for OKC (I don't mean this as a "woulda, coulda, shoulda" for the past or to make an excuse, I mean this just to say that even in the Heat wins, the Thunder matched up well enough where if they had made just a few more plays, victories were there, including two of those on the road, which to me shows they match-up well enough to possibly take game 5. Once again, though, I still think the Heat take game 5.) James will get his, no doubt, but the Thunder are still good enough where they have the ability to complete a comeback (as they showed versus the Spurs).

It's not 2000 Lakers vs. Pacers or something like that, is my main point.

I wouldn't be surprised if game 5 is the first double digit Heat win. Thunder seem to be regressing each game in some ways. If Westbrook didn't go insane tonight it would have been ugly.

Takes just 1 game to turn a series around. OKC broke San Antonio in Game 3 of the WCF.

OKC has too much talent to go out losing 4 straight. This series goes six at least IMO.

I'm not sure if OKC will be able to get themselves up for game 5 and win it. Durant/Westbrook looked pretty damn dejected at the press conference. The two of them probably just had the best total production you can expect to get from them and they still lost.

The rest of the team was downright terrible all game. A lot will depend if the role players can move past last game and come out and be productive. Miami's role players on the other hand should have all the confidence and momentum in the world.

I originally thought the series would come down to wade/bron vs westbrook/durant but clearly that is wrong. Each game basically has been decided by what role player steps up the most.

So they don't have enough talent to not lose 3 straight, but too much talent to lose 4 straight?

Ugh boy

If Lebron turns out to be injured then yeah, that have a pretty good shot at getting back into the series. If not, turn out the lights. The Heat will one of 3 for sure.

To go up 17 points and have the Heat just take that back like it wasn't shite, is extremely hard to get over. The Thunder have a big task in winning a game 5 overcoming what has happened mentally so far.

Yes, Games 2-4 were THERE for the taking. Odds are that the Thunder will take Game 5.

Whether or not they'll extend it past a Game 6 is to be determined.

Uhh no.

Miami had the best home record in the NBA this season.

OKC is 4-5 on the road this postseason, including having lost 4 of their last 5.

Miami is 10-2 at home this postseason.

What logic says that the odds are in favor of OKC in game 5? Anything?

Just what I have said above. Odds are that a team doesn't lost 4 straight games that are within one-possession margins with under a minute left.

Of course, part of me wants to see a Game 7, so maybe I'm just hoping for that

Umm, this has happened in just about every game so far, both ways. I think both teams have gotten over it quite easily. It's the NBA (every team makes runs), and these 2 teams have the best offensive players in the game. They will both make some extreme runs. Come on people.

Odds are that a team doesn't lose 3 straight with one possession games either.

Also, who is to say game 5 will be a 1 possession game.

Also, what happened in the previous 3 games really has no bearing on what will happen in this game. The Heat are favored and the odds on favorite to win.

I'm gonna chalk it up to that as well lol.

I'm willing to bet that Ok City has never had a 17 point lead erased as quickly as the Heat did it last night. 5...... 6 minutes tops??? No this has not happened in every game. The thunder were up so much they were going for kill shots and it backfired. Right now they are feeling like no lead is safe. The Heat is coming. That is a tough thing to get out of your head. If everyone is fine Health wise on the Heat, I'd be surprised if they lose game 5.

We should all be somewhat surprised if the Heat lose Game 5. They are at home with a chance to win the NBA Finals. They are clearly favored to win that game. Really going out on a limb there.
