Where would you buy and how much would you buy?

10,000 acres in Montana or Wyoming

As much as I could afford, and wherever i could get the best deal.
I want hunting/recreation land, so first choice would be Southwest Mississippi or Central Louisiana.

Would have to consider Idaho if they elminate property taxes.

We already have 60 acres just south of Tylertown that backs up to the Boga Chitta. If we didnt already have this, I'd first want the Miss. land before the Montana/Wyoming land

I'd wanna buy something on the coast along 30-A in Florida. I'd also love to buy a house in Faubourg Marigny in New Orleans. But more than anything else, I'd love to buy a few acres worth of bulk-headed riverfront property on the Tickfaw River over near Springfield & Highway 22.

It was North Dakota that was voting on eliminating them, but the voters decided not to, concerned that once the oil runs out so does the revenue stream.

you probably won't make money. But if you had someone farm/cut timber on it, you'll probably break even at least in the long run.
Land is a good investment long term if used.

what ever use you wanted.
I was looking at some land anywhere from 20-100 acres out west, in the Western Montana and Northern Wyoming area and it just got me wondering where other people would like to buy and how much they would like to buy. I was looking for some land that I could use to retire to, and or pass down to my kids. In general land also seemed like a very safe investment.

Central LA around Monterrey, then a ranch in Montana or Wyoming. As much as I could possible afford.

Incline Village would be pretty nice. LINK Anyone got a spare $50 million they want to lend me?
