$9.5 M with $5.3 signing bonus...wish this kid only the very best. He gave us everything he had and had to make a tough decision with CLM.

Question: Do they give the 5.3 million bonus immediately after signing, or is it paid in installments?

Depends on the contract, but usually signing bonus means upfront, right now.

Even though I really would like to see him playing for us for another year, I understand it ain't easy to resist the lure of the big money. Anyway good for you Mr. Brockers and wish you nothing but the best!

Really wish he had stayed, but that's really great for him and his family. He could really be something in the NFL.

Surely, our staff is going to make this information available to Nkemdiche (who is similarly sized to what Brockers was coming out of high school).

This.

Blow up under the tutelage of Chavis/Brick and you get your chance in NFL early with $$$ behind you and the future ahead of you.

Awesome! Awesome person and awesome player. He made the right choice. Especially as a lineman. Gotta take that money when you can. I'd love to see anyone here pretend they'd turn down a 5 million dollar check and 10 m contract.

represent and keep putting in work.
