Home defense shotgun

I am moving a lady friend into my house and want to buy a shotgun for her. Any recommendations from the Outdoor Board? She is small, around 5'0", 100 pounds (no pics OT). Anyone used a Mossberg Mini?
I'm not buying a 410, so either 12g or 20g I believe.

Oh really, anyone shoot one? how are they? i am getting a shotgun for home defense just like the OP, but i was looking at a mossberg 500 tactical... but the saiga looks way more compact
