If anyone wants to move, check out Craig's list. Best place to live ever. I would go bankrupt in a month.

Nah.

Found it on my phone when I was out. Would be too hard to find again. Take me by my Tigerdroppings word. It's as good as gold.

Is it that house that had the dumpster out front that they were re-doing?

I'd need to get my firearms up after what happened to poor Mr. Quintanilla.

Yeah from what I read in the listing that had to have been it.

Guy was sitting on his porch and during an "Armed Robbery" was shot by a 13 year old wearing and ankle bracelet from his previous arrests. It was a block off Banks and a block of Carrolton.

LINK

Firearms would not have helped him unfortunately unless he had it in his lap. Will not keep me from Finn's but definitely a sobering event.

That house does look pretty nice though. Even smashed you can make it home no problem. Glass is probably already putting a bit on it.

He's the career man of the group. I say he takes one for the team and buys us all the house so we wont run into any danger of DUI's.

Yup, love my place in Uptown. Nice and quiet except when i'm trying to take a nap at 5pm. I do live next to a park/ball field, that's my fault.

I do need to start looking for a house though soon.

Speaking of.. I would love to find a cheap arse studio apartment somewhere decent in new Orleans.. Who knew the few miles to Metairie could actually be so far.

I was looking at apartments in Metarie because I'll be going to the LSU med school starting August. Are you saying it's a bit too far? Google maps says 15 minutes.

Nah, It's not too far per say.. but just the fact that most everyone you hang out with and every place you want to go will be in new orleans and it's just that much easier to be in either walking distance or take the trolley.

That and for some reason everyone that lives in the city looks down on us Metairie-folk.

It all depends upon which route you take into the city, from Metairie.

Not to take business away from Finn's, but there are two Irish bars uptown that also show matches. I know one is at Magazine and Third, a block from Parasol's. I disremember the name of it, however. One of my students hits up all three of these places for footie.

It is during rush hour.

Nightmare.

Happy to hear you'll be down in the Big Easy though. Finn's is going to become the TD SB official pub soon enough.
