I almost forgot.

Team Cotton is shakin the haters off once again. You fellas said he was just a situational guy, then just a setup guy.. Well folks I tell u we have found our new closer. He keeps proving you losers wrong time and time again.

Next year he will be in the rotation. Book it!

Da Krewe continues to endorse Team Cotton.

Why pitch him for just 1 inning when he could go 2 or 3?

Idk why everyone is pushing for him to start. We have good starting pitching and having a good closer is just as important. I would rather see cotton stay in bullpen so he can pitch every game in weekend series rather than just 1

He's versatile. That's my point. He could go all 9 in my mind.

Cotton is the second coming of Jesus

I said he wouldn't be an effective starter...so, he hasn't proven me wrong at all

Would you expect to see Cotton tonight if Gaus gives us a solid 8?

I def don't want to see Goody. I'd prefer Cotton or Bourgeois.

If Cotton were to prove me wrong, he'd have to become a pretty shitty pitcher.

IMO, put him in the game in the 8th and let him finish it out

Cotton doesn't have the fastball to be a starter...sorry. He'll remain a situational guy. Once he goes through a lineup, they start catching his stuff. If had a better fastball, he'd probably be a starter.

Meh,Don't know about that. His fastball is plenty good enough with the change-up he throws.

Cotton's change up or screw ball or whatever you want to call it ...breaking down and away from a right handed batter is terrific the first time around. The batter adjusts the second time around. Since most batters are RH, Cotton would get killed the 3rd time at bat if he was a starter.

That's why he will never be a starter. Paul is using him perfectly and that's why he's so effective.

"Why pitch him for just 1 inning when he could go 2 or 3?"

A guy that comes in the 7th and pitches through the 9th is still a closer

Batters adjust to that pitch? Where they gonna hit it, to the first baseman every time?

Well that's ok because after the first time up they are going to be too scared to go back to the plate... So they will have to pinch hit for everyone in the line up... Thus It will always be their first time up... It's the circle of cotton.
