Just finished season 3 of The Wire.

Of course it has become one of my favorite shows on tv, however I have heard that season 4 is where it really get good. It seems almost like they were prepared for the show to end after season 3. What should I expect with season 4? Is it going to be as amazing as I have been told?

Yes its good, did any season disappoint you yet? If no then season 4 wont

None of them disapointed me, I am just wondering what direction they are going to go in. I am guessing they will be centered around the politics and Marlo's crew? I really enjoyed the Dock workers, I sort of wish they would bring some of that back.

I go back and forth all the time of my favorite Season 3 or 4.

Yes, and I had a lot of doubt going in because my favorite character was taken out at the end of S3 and my favorite storyline had wrapped up. However, S4 is the REAL DEAL. 10/10

I thought season 2 sucked. I liked them getting back to the main group of guys in the 3rd. I am midway throught the fourth season with the kids, and it's ok. I am sure it will get better though.
I like all the politic stuff. I can't wait to see if the commish, his homicide commander and the congressman all get what's coming to them

I'm going to rewatch it after GoT while my buddy watches for the first time. Haven't seen it in two years, will be glad to know what to expect this time around.
